- Thank you Ravinia Festival for another fantastic Kids Go Classic! We are fortunate that Ravinia partners with the Foundation to bring unparalleled music programming to our families and into our schools.
- Congratulations to the 2010/2011 Opportunity Grant winners! 47 grants were approved this year, representing an increase of 62% vs. last year. Grants totaled $50,000 an increase of $32,000 vs. last year.
- Indian Trail School Wins 112 Education Foundation Read-A-Thon. Indian Trail School has received the Read-A-Thon trophy from the 112 Education Foundation for the second year in a row. Students were asked to track their reading from March 5 thru April 9. District-wide, participation rose to 46% (from 34% in 2009). In all, students collectively read 1,813,448 pages. Read more here
