District 112 Fun(d) Run and Family Walk

The 2010 North Shore District 112 Fun(d) Run and Walk, presented by First Bank of Highland Park, will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010. The race will begin/end on the beautiful grounds of Ravinia Festival, in Highland Park and run through the surrounding neighborhoods and the Green Bay Trail. This year’s event will feature a 10K, 5K run and a family walk. The runs will include chip timing and the 5K and 10K races are CARA certified.

The Foundation partnered with the PTO/PTA President’s Council and their related PTO’S and PTA’s and the District 112 Administrative Team to organize the race. All proceeds from the Fun(d) Run benefit the Scholarship Fund for District 112 students. These scholarship funds are used to subsidize student participation in extracurricular enrichment activities including band and orchestra, outdoor education, field trips, and after school clubs.
